My SwimRun Friendship battle 2025

 New Record: 17,108.5 km!
The 2025 SwimRun Challenge was a massive success! Over 17,000 km were covered by participants from across Europe, averaging 110.4 km per person. 

The Floating Rockets (GER) defended their team title, while newcomers like Come On SwimRun (INT) and SwimRun Sumin (PL) made strong debuts in the Top 10. 

Michael Gerlach and Nargiza Sharipova topped the individual rankings. Massive respect to our 30-day SwimRunners and all who made this event unforgettable.

Report Week 1

Rules: upload within 24 hours, 24 hours to make changes only from team leaders or admin, after 48 hours data are official 

16.790 km is the record from last year 
- we hope to break that one with more teams and more athletes in 2025
- final statistic: 174 starters from  12 nationalities and 24 teams, all a new record

Our most important Rules:

• A Team consists of 5 - 10 participants
• A SwimRun consists of a total distance of at least 2 km, with 2 swimming and running sessions each and should aim for at least 5% - recommended 10 % of swimming
• Any number of sessions can be completed per day.
• Each unit (training or race) must be uploaded by midnight of next day
• Emphasis on motivation and fun over dishonesty.
• Trust is emphasized, with motivation and fun in favour  of over excessive ambition

7. The Longest Individual Distance June 16th – 22nd June, 2025

• Who uploads the longest individual distance 

Award: 1 Swimrun Shoe (Inov8) from LaufSinn
Winner: Michael Gerlach with 50 k (close ahead of Michal Stanek with 49,5k)

6. Strong finish, June 16th – 22nd June, 2025

• Which team manages to make the most km in the last week 

Award:  LaufSinn bags, 20 % Code Laufsinn
Winner: Floating Rockets, with 804 km, 80,4 km per Team member !!

5. The Coolest Outfit June 9th - 15th - June  2025 

• Participants can submit pictures on FB with the #myswimrunchampionships until June 16th, 24:00 

• Voting ends the following Wednesday at 12:00 PM 

Award:: CAPS  from My SwimRun Championships
and the winner is Team frostbite

4. 24 Hours on Tour June 13th -June 15th, 2025

• Which team manages to be active for 24 h without interruption during the weekend. 

• Times must be verifiable 

Award: 30 % Code Herbalife 

3.  The Longest Swim May 2nd June -8th June, 2025 

• Participants can send their distance separately to Michael Gerlach; Kilometer count must be visible 

• The longest swim distance wins, 2025 as combined swims in total during one unit 

Award: free slot Backwaterman Open Water, 1Training plan from Martina Bolvary 

and the winner is Sarah Gollwitzer from Team HighRunners mit 12 km !! swim

2.  The Coolest Team Picture         May 26thMay  -1st june , 2025 

Team leads or members can submit pictures on soc. media with @myswimrunchampionships and #myswimrunchampionships until May 19, 24:00 

The picture with the most likes wins 

Voting ends the following Wednesday at 12:00 PM

1. The Strong Beginning May 24/25, 2025

• Which team manages to make on Saturday and Sunday 1 upload per member? 

• In case of a tie, the average km per team counts 

Award: ISO from Herbalife, 100 skr Voucher @WolffWear per member 

and 

• 1 Wild card SR Marathon World Championships for the longest distance overall 

unfortunately nobody succeeded in bringing all team members 2 times in action
